Cookie Policy
How SeeGap uses cookies and similar technologies across our website and services.
Effective date: 1 January 2026. This Cookie Policy explains how SeeGap uses cookies and similar technologies across our website, our cashback claim pages, and the dashboard we provide to brand clients.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help a site remember who you are, keep you securely signed in, and understand how the site is used. Some cookies are set by us; others are set by third parties who provide tools we use.
The pages this policy covers
SeeGap operates a few different types of page, and cookie use varies across them:
- Our website (seegap.com and its pages), which introduces SeeGap to brands and sets out how the platform works.
- Cashback claim pages, where shoppers upload a receipt and submit a cashback claim for a specific campaign. These pages may be co-branded for the brand or retailer running that campaign, and where that is the case, the brand may add its own cookies or its own cookie banner to that page.
- The brand dashboard, where our brand clients manage campaigns and view reporting. This only uses cookies needed to keep you securely signed in.
The cookies we use
We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or to build advertising profiles. As our platform develops, cookie use may fall into the following categories:
| Category | What they do | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site and dashboard secure, remember you are logged in, and let you submit a receipt or cashback claim. | Login sessions, security and fraud prevention, our hosting provider |
| Analytics and performance | Help us understand how many people visit our site and which pages are useful, so we can improve it. | Google Analytics |
| Functional | Provide extra features such as web fonts, demo booking, or live chat. | Fontshare (typography) |
Our website sets the strictly necessary cookies described above, loads fonts from Fontshare, and uses Google Analytics to help us understand how the site is used. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before analytics cookies are set. We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes.
Our partners
We work with a small number of specialist providers to run our website and platform. A full list of our data subprocessors is available on request from hello@seegap.com. The main partners who may place cookies on our pages are:
- Fontshare, to deliver the typefaces used across our site.
- Cloudflare, for hosting, security and basic performance.
- Google Analytics, to help us measure how our site is used.
Your choices
Where we use non-essential cookies on our website, we will ask for your consent through a cookie banner before they are set. On cashback claim pages that are co-branded for a specific brand or retailer, look out for that page's own cookie banner, as it may cover cookies the brand has chosen to add.
You can also manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies entirely or just those from third parties.
Turning cookies off
Disabling cookies may limit how our website works for you. In particular, our cashback claim pages rely on a cookie to maintain your session while you submit a claim, so if you disable cookies you will not be able to complete a claim.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools and platform change. Any changes will be posted on this page.
